I dunno about all that, but I do know the movie was an excellent grade spinoff of the old 1950's nuclear attack training. I could never understand that technique. Ever. Given the infinitely small chance that someones ass IS lucky enough to survive the initial shockwave from the blast radius, they are still horribly contaminated with radiation. Now do what Burt the safety Saturn does children!

You can't really appriciate this unless you've actually seen the old duck-and-cover public awareness film. It really was that stupid. And if you haven't, and think this sucks, you'd be wise to keep your mouth shut lest you make an ass of yourself.
