Reviews for "Shark Antennas Co."

That was weird

I could have sworn that those things were dolphins and not sharks. Whatever they were, it was a little hard to keep up because it was just so amazingly zany! This third game jam has certainly given us some of the craziest stuff on Newgrounds! It was fun to get the medals, because the only ones I was able to get were the secret ones! I should not spoil how to get them as the player should get them as easily as I did. The weirdest thing was the horse that randomly appeared when there was a high wind blowing.

It was funny to see the shark get cut up when it hit the ground. I don't know why falling on the ground would cause a shark to be split in half so evenly like that. Then again, I should not try to apply logic to a game like this. It would have been nicer if the instructions had been more clear as in put into the game. This is an amusing thing to play.

Mmm yes thanks for the advice, SECRET: we will make a Gold Version of this game in af uture, i will use your idea of the instructions for the ingame :P

Kinda lost

I liked the art and how it played, but I felt it lacked any real challenge. For a Game Jam, I was pretty happy that the game played without any problems

MonoFlauta responds:

The challenge is more on getting a highscore than going through levels, anyway, glad you liked the other things :)

Good Idea, but not as fun as it could've been.

It really is a great idea, but the game just lacks that spark. For one thing, you present this game as silly and over the top, and while the premise of the game is, the meat of the game is underwhelming. I wanted to see people on their lawns or coming out of their houses shocked at the fact that there is a shark in their roof, but that's just a thought, though more environment detail would've been fantastic and added to the silly premise of the game. I also feel like the levels could've been longer with more sharks and buildings, while at the same time providing some serious obstacles in the air. Other things, like collision detection, spelling & grammar, and more balance in the amount of time given, could all use some work as well. I wrote this review because I really like what you guys are trying to do, and I want to see you work on it, and make a great sequel or re-release or something. Have a good day now.

ok thanks, we are looking foward for a best version of this game, thanks for reviewing :)

I agree with previous post

Here are some suggestions that would make the game more entertaining and challenging. First, dont stop at wind as an obstacle, there are also tornadoes, news helicopters, birds, rockets being shot from PETA extremists. Second, more sharks, minimum of houses that need to be connected to proceed, and more varied options to gain points beside house connection. I suggest things like cars, innocent children on see saws that can be catapulted into the stratosphere. public pools with tasty treats for the sharks, perhaps the option to use different sharks each having unique abilities. Hammerhead sharks can level obstacles preventing a potential connection. Great whites can flop around on the ground devouring opposition. Tigersharks could be like heatseekers for houses, etc. etc. lastly, some type of boss, something like a mobile home on the highway that has rednecks shooting out the window preventing the shark connection, and trying to shoot the player down. There ya go just a few ideas good luck on making an amazing game.

MonoFlauta responds:

well thansk for the good ideas :)

Needs to be fixed

I like the concept of the game, but my main problem was the sticky keys. I could press it, and all the sharks would drop out of the helicoptor. Even right as I restart the level, before I press anything, all the sharks dropped to their inevitable deaths on light poles. Please fix this problem.

MonoFlauta responds:

i will try to find it now that more than one person say to me, the true is that i dont have it so will be a problem to find it, but i will do my best :) thanks for the review :)
