very unimpressive

Very unresponsive controls, lackluster hit detection.. that alone takes 90% of the enjoyment out of your beat-em-up.
Artwork was pretty good, but i felt like you could have animated some parts more as certain elements felt kinda static, namely the enemies. You spent a ton of time on the animations for combos but not enough elsewhere.
the music was ok, but the same old metal song gets boring real quick.
This game does nothing to break the mold of "mediocre side scrolling brawler" and the score reflects that.

hit a major glitch, but still awesome!

ran into area where it just duplicated an inch of the background and copied it over and over then when I accidentally ran into it it froze after a while.Other than that great game difficulty not too hard but yet not incurdiously easy, moves-awesome, animations-awesomest, everything else-----AWSOMETASTIC!

Game was average

The game play was OK, but nothing special. I ended up just spamming the a and s keys, though I did like the quick event moments during the boss fights. The keys would stick frequently though, resulting in me running in the wrong direction or not moving at all as monsters attack me. Art and design however, amazing.

Meh

Aside from the bosses, the action tended toward the repetitive, and even those were fairly simple. The gameplay itself is full of minor glitches that frustrate and annoy, and could easily have been fixed, and the side-scroller/hack-n-slash idea has been done to death and beyond. Personally, I found the artwork, sound, and music are the only redeeming features. The animations were fairly smooth, and though the backgrounds recycled, they weren't unpleasant to the eyes. The music did get a tad repetitive, though.
Overall, not a bad game, but nothing to write home about.
