Reviews for "Power Devour!"

Meh, simple.

It was a little fun for a few seconds...
A bit too repetative. But I understand that you guys did this in little time. So I'm not gonna knock it, it was ok.

thinking-man responds:

Thank you for your kindness.

Great game, for the time it was made in.

Not against you , but Newfail should host a "make a great game in 4 weeks" or some length of time that is reasonable.

Only every once great while "game jam" should exist to see just how far in technology we have come by seeing what can be done the fastest. Maybe every 2 years, for "games made in 72 hours".

thinking-man responds:

Yeah, 3 days is a bit little, but it's easier to find a weekend to do it than 4 weeks, and most of my games are made in about 4 weeks.

Your "Z" looks an awful lot like a "2"...

It took me losing a couple of times and hitting the wrong keys for a while to realize that the button we're supposed to press is not "2" but "Z". I've gotta say, the "Z" makes a lot more sense than pressing "2" did.

Fun concept for a game though. It challenged my hand/eye coordination for sure. Good job.

thinking-man responds:

Thank you. I hate that font.

I always hate Game Jam.

Game Jams encourage hastily made games with limits set up to challenge the developers. If NG continues to hold this kind of retarded competitions, NG will be doomed.

This game worth a 9. If it is not from game jam, it just worth a 7. This is not the game's fault, it's the Game Jam's fault. Really.

P.S. That homo sapiens called Monako is hypocritic. Look at his rating, it is 6, while others give an 8.

thinking-man responds:

Yeah, but I'm not mad. At least he didn't tell me to "fall on a knife".

Repetitive

I mean it is ok just a little two repetitive for my taste. It just gets boring after a few minutes of playing it. Now I understand you did it in 72 hours but this felt like it could have been done in an afternoon

thinking-man responds:

We DID do it in an afternoon. We waited for a guy who didn't show, and that's all that was left.
