Reviews for "Robotic Heart"

Not that good

At first I was disappointed because I thought it was going to be too easy. Now I realize that it actually is a lot harder than it looks. It doesn't help that the graphics are cheesy, but that was probably the whole point of this. Well, this is my first review for Robot Day 2011. I suggest that next time you put in a lot more detail into the characters and don't make it so easy to die. Those purple things reminded me of the "Shadow The Hedgehog" video game.

The music wasn't half bad, but did get a bit irritating. It's also annoying with how the background in each area is basically the same. At least you provided checkpoints and the first couple parts of it are easy enough. The robot's design itself isn't half bad. Just also try to make the robot smaller, so it doesn't clutter up the whole screen.

EventHorizon responds:

Thanks for your review and for your advice, you're right about some of the flaws of the game so I will try to improve.

Cool

The art looks pretty good and have an interesting story, the levels are smooth--although I don't enjoyed at all some of the "key-door" levels, they are too hard. Keep up the good work! :)

pixelated

I'm a fan of these games so I really liked this game, well done!

EventHorizon responds:

thanks :)

I think it's ok

I think this game is great and relaxing, the art was very well done and the music that you chose was perfect, the part against the final boss is easy and fun so my vote is 10

EventHorizon responds:

I always appreciate your reviews, thanks!

Thoughts.

@LightRiku Cool story bro.

Nothing new nor interesting.
It was pretty much only walking and jumping.
I think some puzzles where you had to use those different elements would've been nice.

Also it would've been better if you had made a platform game out of this instead.
That way you could at least make use more of the wind power and Water/Fire would been used to enemies and Light would've been used for maybe something called Shadow enemies or puzzles where you direct the light with mirrors and etc.

Like you could've done so much more and it's kinda sloppy.
Good start, but try to put some effort and think what game you can make out of these ideas, because this game were basically just ideas for game really.

EventHorizon responds:

I wanted to add more features to the character as the powers of fire and water but I have not had time to do it, anyway thanks for your advice.
