Very fun, addictive and chaotic..
9.5/10. Great fun. The fights are always epic and chaotic. No major flaws. I was going to complain about how I don't like the controls, but then I realized I can customize them lol.
I love the retro look and feel, but I think the sprites (or whatever) can be improved upon.
I think the camera and the zooming in and zooming out features could use some polish especially when the characters go in and out of the elevators. The camera can get a bit spazzy and constantly zoom in and out which is annoying and headache inducing. I also feel that it zooms in and out when i doesn't have to and then it gets crazy and annoying (i'm referring to gameplay and the demo on the menu screen).
Also, melee brawls/fist fights turn into orgies. A lot of the time the characters appear to overlap each other (i.e., the different characters/pixels can be on the same exact spot) and it's hard to see and tell what's going on. I think the "punch" attack range should be increased a little bit to prevent the characters from overlapping and being inside/on top of each other. I also think there should be some sort of collision system for the characters so they don't overlap/go through each other when fighting, and instead cannot pass through each other. If this is implemented, then I think allied characters should be able to pass through each other.
I apologize for the walls of text and if I was being hypercritical. I intend for my criticism to be constructive. Overall it's a great game that I will be playing with my friends for a while.
