The later levels get hard as hell, the variety of weapons is good without being too huge and this is one of the best shooting games I've played in a long while! Great stuff, thanks!

Sonic meets Metal Slug
The speed of Sonic meets the Run N' Gun feel of Metal Slug. Good shit.
I like the fact that very early on you have enough cash to get worthwhile upgrades. Way too many games give you little cash and try to fool you to buy worthless weapons early on where if you just wait an extra level or two you can buy a decent upgrade.
Graphics and controls are great.
Two complaints: The game seems to slow down when it gets really hectic which is a lot. Wouldn't be a big deal but there's been quite a few times where I swear I double jumped and nothing happens.
No auto-fire: Auto-fire should not be a pickup. My left wrist is killing me from hammering the space bar. Reminds me of when I was 14 all over again. Auto-fire should be mandatory in all shooters.
Great game though. Added it to the favorites.

Thanks for the comment! I'll definitely do my best to optimize performance on my future projects. And to be honest I think the game would be too easy if it had auto-fire. But I'll consider other options if I make another shooter!
Amazing! But a bit laggy.
First off, let me say that this game is awesome, a breakneck paced cluster-f*ck of beautiful shooting action. The art style is great, very twisted and colorful and the soundtrack is very pulse pounding and works extremely well with the game. I also love the giant worm, really helps keep the pace quick.
But I do have some complaints: First of all there were several moments were I wish I had some sort of a melee attack to get the mobs of baddies off me. Secondly the inability to fire up or down was quite annoying, especially when flying enemies started becoming a lot more common. There were also moments were I died in very "cheap" feeling ways most of these deaths involved lava/acid that was perfectly level with the ground. Now my biggest complaint is the lag, I've got a computer that's only a year or two old but I experience frequent slow-downs.
