This is a fun game without making things too complicated. Just picked it up and went at it.
Would be nice if we didn't have to go to the merchants every time we wanted to change our equipment.

I just wished the character didn't come to a stop every time he jumps... seems very out of pace for a speed-based game. I think it'd play a lot smoother without that... but I ASSUME there's a reason you made it that way... maybe?

real challenge
A word of advice to new players: the enemies are not your enemies. The LAVA is your enemy. Once your armor gets high enough, you can pretty much mash the fire bottom and ignore enemies behind you. Lava, however, will always kill you.
I actually like this: although the game looks like a mindless Doom-esque monster exploder, it actually requires careful thought to get through the levels. Color me surprised.
