Awesome game
Like other person before me, my first thought was cave story, but more because of the terrain design than the character or graphics. Great game, and the difficulty increased nicely.
*spoilers(i think)*
i got the creepy ending where the angel explodes.

Absolutely worth the time
Difficult at parts, but that's what all puzzle games are like, so overall a very good game. I have never seen anything like the death idea in a game before, it truly is impressive. Great music too!
Effective
While the hit detection for jumping on the plant guys is kind of frustrating and the movement is slow and slippery, the dead world, which is where the game really shines, is super creepy and I really like the idea of having to enter a harder level of a gameplay (doing stuff upside down, blurred vision) in order to complete the level really cool.
