Reviews for "Traitor"

Yeah, no bugs so far. It looks great. Reminds me a bit of shellcore command. Done in Flixel?

One of the finest vertical shooters with an good story,
It felt like a flight shooter version of K.O.L.M.
The only complaint i have is i cant see the top and bottom edges of the screen at the same time(even in a popup window).
I have to pause the game and then scroll up/down to see the health/area.

Other than that it was flawless. I would love to see a sequel.

Magnificent. Sometimes hard and challenging, but still awesome. Congrats, and keep up the great work!

This game was very well made it recall in my mind the old games ... I really liked it

It's sad that so many people are downvoting this game because they don't get the point.

You are SUPPOSED to be weak to begin with in this game. In the beginning focus your efforts more on dodging enemies and only taking out small/essential enemies and the game becomes very playable, and fun. The idea is that you build up your strength slowly, which works out nicely with the difficulty curve. Play smart, and you shouldn't have all these problems.

As for the game itself, I find it very enjoyable. The story is interesting, and all of the writing for missions is fun to read. The game mechanics are solid, and I really like the way a beginner has to focus on dodging at first. It makes sense as a game mechanic, and adds something new to the genre. The upgrades mostly don't add a huge amount of strength singularly, but when combined they help a lot. This is great, because it allows you to build a much more balanced ship.

The music is enjoyable as well, and suitable.

The main suggestion I might ask for is to let the players learn a little bit more of the lore. Especially in an organic way through mission promps, as opposed to a codex styled explanations. Your writing chops are clearly up to par, so capitalize a little more on that strength.
