Reviews for "Siegius Arena"

Very cool atmosphere, I love the crowd wandering around in the shopping district. I like the combat, but it could sure use some tweaks. It is very annoying to swing at an enemy four or five time then find yourself at his backside. That, combined with the slight delay required to let all animations play out make for somewhat frustrating battles.

This whole game reminds me of the Hercules Arena from Kingdom Hearts, which was one of my favorite parts of that game! The way characters are engaged in different activities in the bg/fg really helps breathe life into this game.

I really didn't like that spells are so hard to aim. You should build a quick targetting system for them, otherwise they seem pretty much almost useless.

out of 10...
gfx - 9 (killer effects, especially lighting)
sfx - 9.5 (good music, cool sfx, good quality)
design - 9 (great concepts come together for an immersive experience)
gameplay - 7.5 (pretty fun, but needs some tweaks)

overall, this is a brilliant concept with great atmosphere and excellent graphics that only suffers from reaction-speed delays in combat and lack of great functionality in attacks.

was really fun until it got impossible for me to beat it.

Not bad
Nice games.

really i agree with what Goetikmagus but i think i can add a bit more to it... it would be nice if there was alternate buttons for the skills, like mirroring them on the other side, or an option to choose your own bindings, for me personally i feel like the skills with the order they are in work best with my right hand but to do that i would either have to cross my hands or have them right on top of each other, i noticed "y" does the "z" attack, most likely an accident but continuing that threw "u" "i" and "o" would have been great for me... i also think the unlocking progression could have been better handled... perhaps using fans, for example beating a level the first time with 1/2/3 stars gives you a set number of fans but redoing the level gives you a lower number of fans... that way if you get stuck you can go back and grind out some better equipment but it would take a lot more time

This is very well done! Love the smooth gameplay. Even the storyline is decent. Controls are simple enough to use, yet there is a certain skill level that comes into play in the higher levels. Well done!
