Seriously? I understand it's been made in 72 hours...but this is just ridiculous...and to think about the rating. Bad art and programming, physics are messed, the concept is boring and unoriginal, the screen is tiny (I cant' even tell if there's an enemy on the next platform, and once I jump there's no going back). The shooting the slow, the pace is slow and there's not even walking animations. The bosses were simple and nothing special to them. To think that there are medals...

Yet again, another Ludum Dare entry that gets front paged just because it's in Ludum Dare. Also Protip: just flatout saying something is a villain for reasons that have nothing to do with the gameplay isn't going to win you any prizes. In my eyes, this game has failed to live up to the LD theme. That is, if you even want to call this a game.
It's a very mediocre platformer with terrible graphics. Get someone to do your artwork for you. Also 90% of the level platforms are too close to the top edge of the flash window, obscuring most of the already laughable gameplay... thought saying that, maybe it's a good thing. Also pointless pickups, and every single level is exactly the same, minus boss behavior... with bosses being nothing more than oversized versions of the exact same enemies the level already threw.
Seriously, why is this on the front page?
Honestly, I'd expected better from an anti-Microsoft platformer.
Now, I can't really fault the graphics, since they're supposed to parody the amateurish works of MS Paint users. I can, however, fault the controls and physics, which are rather simple and mediocre. Also, I get the "you are the villain theme", but Firefox being based in Hell? Really? Are you trying to mock Internet Explorer or its competitors? The biggest flaw this game has, however, is that it's simply not fun to play through. It's much too easy and short to get any sense of accomplishment from beating it.
In conclusion, this game is really only enjoyable for fans of anti-Microsoft games. There's really nothing to recommend to anyone else.
I'm not meant to be insulting here, so I'll try my best. I only played this game since it had 4 stars, but I wish I hadn't. The graphics are clearly meant to be basic, fair enough, but I've seen much nicer looking Ludum Dare games which are just as simple. But their style is far more effective.
I was disappointed with the story (or lack of it) and the gameplay too: the story had no real development, and controlling the character was awkward and clunky.
I know you only had 48 hours, but I've seen much better submissions made in that time.
