Very good idea, fun to play. Addictive. Colors are harder to remember than +, -, × signs would be.
On the game's first level, the target number was 3, and there was a blue 3 available. So I held my mouse over the blue 3, giving me a Current value of 3 that perfectly matched the Target value of 3, and waited for time to run out. When it did, I was given a Game Over screen despite doing exactly what the instructions told me to do.
Perhaps you left out a step in the instructions?
This game needs more testing, unfortunately, because it would appear that a couple of bugs got through.
Not only are the removed digits not being replenished quickly enough (which can waste valuable time) but there has been a few cases where the combination needed for the target number was unavailable. (This often occurs when the target is a double digit number)
Please recheck your scripting, Amidos, because, although your overall design is clever and original, the requirements for obtaining that third medal are proving frustrating to obtain.
Simple art and interesting idea, i consider it a starting point...
