Reviews for "You Are Disabled"

Great game, hard and all but...i was afk...why when i'm back the spastic completed the game alone???

This game is really epic. I like how you have to beat the game with the 4 given disabilities. It's challenging, and epic. It's like either beating up a wrestler while playing as a nerd or getting a higher gpa than a nerd while playing as a Jock (without cheating). The background and music is kinda disturbing and does creep me out. I just assumed that you're in hell but you're alive. Before I read the reviews I kinda didn't get the message until I read the reviews. The time I played the game I just thought the unfortunate character was going into a pipe that leads hell where there are full of jerks who put signs up insulting you and you start with 4 different types of difficulties to make the game hard and intresting. It kinda bothers me that at the end, you are so close to freedom but your disabilities prevent you from obtaining it (like at the cripple and spastic part where you are so close to freedom but you have no chance of ever getting to freedom so you have to enter the domain). When I read the reviews I confirmed myself the message about how terrible people are treating to the disabled.

1: The cripple part is kinda tedious with how slow you're moving and it really isn't much of a challenge, too easy.
2: The illiterate part's real good for beginners and I'd recommend this type of disability for those who is starting out on the game.
3: The blind part is challenging because of the hot heads. You gotta be both lucky and skilled to get past the hot head level. The disappearing blocks I can memorize the patterns and see the back ground on where I should land.
4: The spastic part is what REALLY is where the challenge begins since your character ends up commiting suicide alot which is awfully frustrating. Especially at the last level. Real torture that.

Finally I gotta wonder, At the end of illiterate and Blind disability level, do both levers lead you to wizard's domain or is one actually gonna take you to freedom?

And will there be a sequel to this game? Or what happened to the disabled person that ended up in wizard's domain?

Thanks for your time if you read the reviews....and keep it up Cory, your game is awesome. Wish you would answer my question though, I would really appreciate it.

Great, repulsive, frustrating... awesome!
The art-style and graphics are great. Except for the spastic disability (which I believe could have been different, didn't add to the game much), the game was pretty good. Difficulty was very balanced and was apropos to the condition of the character. Music was supposed to be dark and it stands out to be so. Considering the fact that it was made in just 72 hours, the game is really great.
The game might not be upto the social standards as such and might offend a few, but in the end... it's just a game.
Nonetheless, a great attempt by the author (I, for one, consider it a successful one).
All the best for your future works!

It fits the idea well, though it's a royal pain to play through!

I'm sorry but this game needs to be upped to mature, I only played the crippled mode but the helpers that constantly said they were going to fuck you and use you and abuse you? So in this "world" if you are going to be crippled and want to live you are going to be a sexual slave? You have one hell of a warped mind and you need therapy, have a merry Christmas and god have no mercy on your warped soul.
