Reviews for "D.O.E.S"

I love how you reference the ad. Those things are annoying! Well, it looks like most people thought this was okay and I agree. Yeah, I am using this on a mouse. I still like it. Of course, I never was that good at these kinds of games.

If I used a mouse, I would probably like it more. It actually DOES seem to be well detailed. Thank you so much for the trying medal. Merry early Christmas, I guess. I don't know how to get ahead in this.

Surn responds:

Merry Christmas to you too! The trying medal allows a glimpse at who at least tried the game. Kinda like spying!

Not to sound like an ass or anything, but this is nothing more then minesweepers with a few add-ons.

Surn responds:

Nonsense! Minesweepers is a fair game because it tells you where the bad things are.

The cigarettes suck. Guaranteed 2 damage every time.
Beat it with 7 attack, 11 luck and 23 (+3) max health. Got the Leprechaun badge.
Pretty neat little game.

Surn responds:

"The cigarettes suck. Guaranteed 2 damage every time."
They should put that on the packages.

This game is good, but it is INCREDIBLY frustrating to the point of not being fun after a while. The events are so random that you have to uncover the weaker enemies and get lucky on the fun things in EXACTLY the right order to even get farther than level 1, never mind beating the game. This is very well made, but it needs rebalanced, I've played around 40 runs now and only once have I passed level 2, often I get killed by Geriatric Cyborg or another stronger enemy on my tenth tile or sooner.

Surn responds:

Yeah, if you obsess over the medals that can suck the fun out of it.

Took me a while to win the first time, I got it by beating the enemy out of the TV. Didn't get a medal, because I didn't get all the things I suppose. Kinda reminds me of old school D&D, where you had no clue what would happen if you did X action in Y situation.

Pretty good graphics and sound, and I think getting some of those medals will take a good deal of patience.

Surn responds:

Yeah, a medal for beating the monster in the TV would drive people crazy because you'd need to be super lucky to get it.
