Original, but I think you can do better about pixel size for some monster's tooth... Some of those have too big pixels...

The game was made for #lowrezjam which constrain was to make a game which is played in 64x64 resolution. I think, I couldn't make better teeth :P
I had a blast! Once you got rid of the annoying "cutscenes", this game became less irritating. Very nice entry...well done!

no please i LOVE watching far to long death animations
but really the best way to make a hard game into an annoying game is to not have a skip button for, like, every cutscene especially when there is nothing to tell you anything so trial and error is the only way to figure out anything.

Just right now I uploaded new version, where you can skip at least some of the falling part, it this enough?
EDIT: You can now skip all cutscenes.
The layout does not change when resetting. What changes is the position of the powerups and bosses.
Which means there is always gonna be that one powerup to the right of the map that is impossible to pick up, because for whatever reason, you don't want us to move down. Like, wtf.

This item is a secret, it can be obtained. I can tell you how but It would destroy all the pleasure of finding path to it.
TIP: Think how many roads from start position can lead to this item, especially when you can't go down :)
