Reviews for "Gravity Simulator"

When I click on a planet I am able to change its shape. I think you need to let the player know which one is selected, as there is no indicator.

TestTubeGames responds:

Agreed - good idea! I'll get that added in. (EDIT: Fixed)

Very interesting but glitchey. After pressing clear about 3 times a making a new system I can't zoom or add planets.

TestTubeGames responds:

Thanks for letting me know -- if you have a chance, I'd love to know what browser you're using.

Doesn't seem to get past "Accreting" screen on either Firefox or Pale Moon.

Cool! Like a 2D version of Universe sandbox. Pretty good, I guess. Kinda limited, but that's completely fine. Does this use real physics (Newton's universal gravitational constant) to calculate stuff? tah would be cool. But not bad, I guess.

TestTubeGames responds:

Yes, it does use real physics -- a 1/r^2 Newtonian force law (or a different force law if you so choose). I aimed to make it really accurate - physics accuracy being something I tend to obsess over. So what you see should be what you get with newtonian gravity.

Cool simulation. My only gripe is that sometimes the controls and the game become unresponsive. I might try to add or do something but it will not register. But good concept here, It's calming and mesmerizing to experiment with different things. Space tends to do that I suppose.

TestTubeGames responds:

Thank you for the feedback -- I'm trying to figure out a way to fix the bug you mentioned. If it's the same one I found, it seems to happen when using 'shift' while right-clicking the mouse. Should be fixable.
