Excellently done.
I believe it was an excellent piece of work. If I had to criticize it, I'd say it's hard to tell the background from objects you can use.... and the animation's pretty choppy.

Actually the reason the animation looks choppy is that its not running at full speed. I'm going to upload a newer version of the stripped-down game to my site sometime tommorrow, that should run more smoothly, and the animation will look better.

NIce effort nice flash but......
this game quite obviously,already exists.u took the characters,and put them into a shorter,laggier,buggier environment.
instead of playing ur flash or playing the full version,id rather get an emulater and play it there.

Call it an exercise in programming. I wanted to see if I could make it behave like the real thing. I think that (aside from the lag) I pulled that off.
The full version of this will not be a simple remake, it will be an original game based on a bunch of collectible cards and a manga Capcom released a while ago.

My artistic talents are not quite on par with my programming, and I didn't want to get bogged down in the art and get frustrated and give up, so I just took what I needed from Capcom and plugged it into the code. I now have some sprite artists at work on stuff for the full version. That is going to have some new chracters in it.

You had to do allot of stuff to make it, and i would never be able to do this.
BUT!!!!
There are allot of bugs in the game.
Like one i found playing it.
I fell right trouge a wall, and now, im falling down into the darknes forever and ever:-P
Fix the bugs, and it will be a kickass game!
