A very nice second effort...
"Fishy" may seem to sport a fairly simplistic premise, but I for one see a great deal of potential here. The basic mechanics, even as implemented, are novel and fun, and if thoughtfully extended could make for some truly addictive gameplay.
I think that the first key step is adding AI behaviors specific to the different varities of fish... nothing so complicated that it becomes annoying, mind you, just enough to keep the player on his or her toes. Next, the goal needs to be given a bit more depth, something that forces the player to refine his eating habits to achieve a higher score... perhaps by forcing the player to eat against an ever-encroaching enemy, different fish, or against the clock, etc. ...
Ah well, with time and dedication, I'm sure you'll figure it out. ;)
