Is that a moon up there? x3
6 days down, 25 days left....25 days left...25 days left...
I want to know the amount of ink I'll use this October. What do you think it'll be? No, genuinely, tell me how much ink I might use. My prediction? A quart.
Anyway, I'll stop "yapping" as the Gen Alpha'ers say, and talk about the drawing. This was a bit of a tricker one, as "trek" literally just meant to take a walk. I didn't want to put Brian in the woods because one of the next prompts would be "hiking", and I didn't want to put him in the mountains because the final prompt will be "landscape". So, I ultimately decided he'd be trekking through an abandoned, lost neighborhood of sorts.
I also used this as an opportunity to draw landscapes with one point perspective, which I seemingly rarely do. If you look carefully enough you can actually see the lines and point of vanishing. ...I'm not a very good eraser.
Blah blah blah, yada yada yada, more info about the drawing here. To be honest one of the things I've been loving about Inktober is the fact I don't know where to begin with these drawings. But when I actually take the simple step of just putting my pencil to the paper, it unleashes my creative beast, and in the end, I get something I like. I hope you guys continue to enjoy my Inktober!...wow, this ended up being way longer than usual.
(Side note: yes I know I misspelled abandoned shut up)
