This one is a little experimental and came out a bit rough, but it seems to be a solid composition anyway, and the grittiness gives it more of a real-art feel.
I wanted to try making a painting-like anime drawing like the ones they used to do for 80s anime, such as the Orguss OST cover. This one is based on Lynn Minmei.
I usually digitally ink over my sketch book scans because they are too messy, but this time, I used some combination of gimp's blur, oilify and cartoonify because I was feeling lazy. This means there is also some pencil shading left over.
