A little project on simplified character design started from last year, it's another A-Z again.
Some of these girls is more or less effected by figures out there, I try to mention:
- Burglar: Cat Woman(DC)
- Fairy: Miss Spider(James and the Giant Peach)
- Geisha: Traditional Kokeshi
- Heroine: Wonder Woman(DC)
- Idol: Marilyn Monroe
- Kungfu Girl: Ran Mao(Black Butler)
- Nurse: Valentine(Skullgirls)
- Xenos: Mother of Ultra & Alien designs by Wayne Barlowe
- Zombie: Sally(The Nightmare Before Christmas)
Honestly I can't tell where most of inspirations are coming from.
When it come to a basic symbol, the cliches sneak up lol
