Chiara - Bionicle (my interpretation)

Share

This is my interpretation of Chiara from the Bionicle series! She's a character that never got fleshed out much because of the series' first run ending before she could be in more than a section of a story. I've always loved the idea of making a Lightning Toa so applying some more complexity to her otherwise "girlpower" personality is always fun :D

(NOTE: I'm being INCREDIBLY losey-goosey with how her lore lines up in the timeline, largely cause she doesn't really become relevant until the matorans and glatorians meet for the first time. i gave her a whip because i didn't know she used a spear until after i'd committed to it and i don't want to break this thing back open to change it)

in broad strokes: Chiara is an OLD Toa, and was part of a toa team during the whole barraki warlord incident lol. This toa team was unprepared, as they were dragged into this fight before they had learned fully how to handle their powers. Chiara ended up killing her team in a freak accident that also cost her her arm. I'm thinking pre-evil makuta teridax gave her the Raskshi arm replacement and told her to either get it together or leave. She chose the latter and basically hid away from most people to deal with the guilt of what she'd done. Of course, the whole Giant Robot Opening Up and revealing a desert made her snap out of it a little, and then she goes and does the canon stuff. I have no more than this. lol, haha, etc, etc

this is all subject to change, probably. if the spirit moves me, perhaps
