Jabal piece I made weeks ago, once again quite proud of this piece, pose, lighting, and inking just hits my spots

I think my biggest hurdle so far was the inking (either spent too much time on insignificant details or line-work wasn't thick enough) and the lighting (never knew where to place shadows so lighting looked awkward)

I resolved the inking problem by going with a bigger brush size and just playing around with pen pressure to vary weight and I resolved the lightning issue with this *very* helpful twitter post: https://twitter.com/marissadraws/status/1582425084215857152

As for the shadow itself I always wanted to work with heavy shadows, so I think I'll stick with that once I get to work on Stardust Hearts c:
