who goes ghost hunting in sandal's?
I’ve been writing a graphic novella and wanted to do a little concept sketch of its leads.
If they look familiar, that’s because they’re the leads from my 2018 Inktober run, now given their own original story.
The script has been written, but I figured having a visual reference to go along with them was a good idea.
who goes ghost hunting in sandal's?
Judging by the cast, he's probably not the best at taking care of himself.
Less-Strange Things
sprinkle a bit a drugs on it and you Earthbound 4! (i see your Friday night funkin reference)
Wouldn't that be a dream! I keep thinking of them as a sort of RPG party.
love the earthbound reference amazing art btw
Thanks! I was looking for a color scheme, and I thought the Earthbound look would be a good way of explaining each character's role in their "party."
Awesome. So, would you mind sharing their names and backstories a bit?
Sure. This is the cast of the local junior film crew of "Roz's Weird-O-Mentary." They put it upon themselves to catalogue the weird and supernatural happenings that occur in their town. They are:
Roz (The one with the cap) : The ambitious, busybody leader of the film crew. Has a strong desire to capture the weird and the paranormal on screen, regardless of how dangerous things might get. More likely to talk over someone than actually listen. Lead host of the Weirdo-O-Mentary film crew.
Tanya (The girl with the glasses) : Roz’s best friend and crew cameraman. Smart but fairly reserved. Has a tendency to call people by their least favorite names, but is sweet enough that no one holds it against her. More likely to be spoken over than speak up.
Frankie (The boy with the glasses) : The beleaguered, injury prone co-host of the film crew. The new kid in town, he’s smart as a whip but suffers from having an even smarter mouth that makes him a target for local bullies and paranormal creatures.
Gordon (The boy with the headband) : Frankie’s best friend, the unenthusiastic, sarcastic boom mic operator of the crew. A former delinquent who would much rather be anywhere else. Suffers from a naturally helpful streak that compels him to stick around in case things go wrong for his friends.
