New OC: Gio

Share

Been on a roll with these OCs. So basically: my friend is DMing the campaign that comes with the Lego DnD set, and while we had to stay within the confines of the base character sheets from the campaign, we were allowed to make new designs and bakcstories. So came Tetora "Gio" Pugiones, Japanese and Latin respectively for "4 daggers". (He also has the middle name of Angelo, or "Angel" in italian.)

He's a 6'5' Orc rogue. His main ability is to throw his 4 daggers from the shadows. He's very quiet and reserved when hiding, but once seen, or wanting to be seen, he's incredibly boisterous. As well: he hates swords cause I thought it was funny. (The original sheet did have 2 daggers and a short sword, but my friend let me swap it for 2 more daggers).

And if you couldn't tell by now between the names, design, and character description: he's one massive JoJo reference. Gio from Giorno and Dio, Angelo from the Part 4 antagonist, his knife throwing technique lifted directly from Dio in Part 3, and overall he's basically an excuse for me to play Dio Brando as a character. His design takes inspiration from the Orc Rogue in the original set, Dios Part 1 and 3 outfits (the cloak in reference to the one he wears in the beginning of the final battle), and a bit of the Lego CMF 24 Orc. The knives actually don't hold any meaning, outside of them all being different to show he just picks these up from wherever he can.

Also: While Gio doesn't have any music references, if I were it would definitely be the song I Will Not Bow by Breaking Benjamin. His character is sorta still being worked on, so I'll probably find a way to squeeze a reference to that in in the future... ;)
