Merwin The Shark

Share

Here is one of my oldest OCs! So old I actually designed Merwin back in elementary/middle school back when I was so fascinated and obsessed with sharks! (I still honestly am, they're beautiful marine creatures.)

I decided to also do this picture for commemoration of Shark Week on Discovery Channel! It's ongoing and it started last Sunday. Be sure to watch it for awesome documentary action!

Now with all that aside, here's Merwin's Bio.

Name: Merwin
Age: 10
Gender: Male
Race: In reality a human but has the magic ability to transform into a shark for some time.
Likes: Swimming, making friends, water, lots of space to move around, food, the beach, saying hi to literally any fish and any body.
Dislikes: Bigger fish who may try to kill or eat him, nets, pollution, being touched in the face by strangers, teased with food, anything heat-related.

Bio: He is a young boy who loves to aimlessly explore parts of the ocean, preferably the more safer and bright sections. He is also pretty friendly and will greet others, often scaring them in his shark form when popping out of the water suddenly to give a hello. He also eats A LOT. He has a good heart, but he won't back down from a fight if something he values is taken away from him, especially food! When he's trying to regain his stamina from being a shark, he wishes to sail in his original human form.

Trivia: So apparently when I was thinking of a name for him at one point, I was thinking of naming him after my elementary school where I read my favorite shark books. And funny enough, the name "Merwin" is actually a name that means "sea friend" or "mariner". Once I found this out, I had to name him after this!

Merwin the shark belongs to me.
