This is the final evo of the water starter in the ROM hack me and a couple guys have been working for for like a year, this is his sprite as it appears in the game. The concept was pitched by the project's leader, the original concept was drawn by me as well as the sprite we see here.

He's a water/ground type that has a degree of control over thunder powers using his staff thingy, I forget his name but he looks a lot like the frog guys from Wind Waker and what everyone thought Froakie's evolution was going to look like before Greninja was announced. He went through a few iterations before settling on this design, first he was a gorilla frog, then he was a sumo wrestler and then he just got fat and grew a beard.
