The box had been her prison for far too long, a cramped purgatory of waiting, forgotten in the shadows of storage...
But not anymore. She bursted free triumphantly, her glossy form bouncing with newfound liberation, air filling her once again.
With a decisive smile she threw a punch at the cardboard that once confined her.
No more being tucked away, no more waiting for a place. She had one now, and she wasn’t going back in.
Not today. Not ever.
