Posted this on Twitter and Instagram, but thought I'd also throw this up here. Since Illumination Entertainment’s Super Mario Movie is having a trailer debuting today… I wanted to sketch out what I THOUGHT the characters might look like.

YES I KNOW, THEIR DESIGNS WERE LEAKED. I just had this joke in my had since the infamous Nintendo Direct moment where they announced the voice cast for the movie and wanted to get it out before it was TOO late. Shoulda known that waiting the day before the Movie Direct when leaks were likely was a bad idea. Still, thought it was a funny idea!
