Valentine's Day 2022 I woke up with the insane urge to draw one of my favorite OC's as a fun beefcake cupid (no judging in this space ;))! I spent hours looking up different male dancing references and had to do a pose-bash with my little mannequin.

I don't know why I wanted to work in marker since I could have probably done as well digitally, but I have a bunch of markers and I just got more ink! I was glad that (for the most part) the Speedball india ink was resistant to my markers after being given some time to cure, the only issue was my Letraset I used for the skin. Other markers were Tombow and mostly Prismacolor.

I actually had to rework an led strip I have running across the beams of my glass-top desk, which helped with the sketch touchups and doing a second drawing. The first one was... It left a lot to be desired. I think I was even working on the 'wrong' side of the paper, if that's a thing that can happen with Letra paper.

I also had a lot of issues with the recording. The battery ran out a lot a few times and the memory card got full at least once. I probably could have saved a lot of trouble streaming to my PC. The worst part was my DaVinci project nuking itself into orbit the day before I wanted to upload the edited footage to YT. Good news is I was able to redo it, possibly better, and I still got it out on time.

I want to keep it going with the other men from my fantasy project, and I have a lot of marker paper to get through. :D
