I've been looking at people make leather wallets and other leather accesosries and i wanted to try my hand at it i couldn't find any measurements for them so i had to come up with it myself here's my scribble papers

i also extrapolated as much as i could from the videos as they are much of a tutorial

the total cost for materials to build it was about $70 most $20 of which was for the fake leather. the fake leather i go sucks, its really hard to punch the sewing holes and it also stains so much. it also looks horrible when you try to bevel the edges and especially around corners. but i bought so much so i'll probably be using it for a bit

if you look in the inner edges you can see i had a couple mishaps with the hole puncher but oh well. another thing is that you can see the knots i tied at the end fo sewing, they are very visible bc the thread i used does NOT melt so that its easier to hide but instead just burns and i didn't know were to hide the knots

the materials i bought for this wallet were

beeswax( to seal up the edges, a very nice finish)

the wooden roller thing to spread the beeswax(i dont remember what it's called

thicker needles

beeswax coated thread

leahter

3 hole puncher

hole punching matt

things i had already

an xacto knife

ruler

pencil

compass(to mark where the holes would go, about 0.5 cm from the edge

i would change so me dimmensions, make thing like .3 cm taller, widen some things maybe add more compartments.

but overall, its a wallet i would unironically use
