Dark and Omenous, yet Warm and Homey

I like th creepiness of the picture, but you throw the light on the (Dog?) and room to give it sort of a.. domestic, 'It's safe here' feel. Nine!

But in all seriousness Great use of line and shading, I love the Warmth of the streetlight bleeding into the Cold, blue/gray room. Shadows fall well across the scene.

I'm looking for places you can improve, and its hard to find many, the only suggestion I have is rather Trivial; Perhaps let a bit of the orange light bleed through the curtain edges closer to the window, giving them a slightly lighter, orange tint.
