Prototype Peg and Sylvia (read description)

Share

After discovering some early concept art of "Goofy Troopers" (an early title of Goof Troop) on the Disney Wiki a few days ago, I had been planning on making an artwork of both Peg (removing her surname on purpose to avoid a claim by Disney) and Sylvia, as I assumed that drawing unused character designs from prototype TV shows was okay since they were not the character from the final product.

If you're wondering why Sylvia is there even though there are no publicly available unused designs of her that differ drastically and no evidence that she was to appear in Goof Troop, it's because Peg was originally supposed to be a character meant for the show and not some seemingly random woman from the 1952 Goofy cartoon How to Be a Detective (https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/disney/images/a/a0/1952-detective-6.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20210519015331) and there is a chance that the drastically different looking Mrs. Goofy from the early concept art of Goof Troop could be a much fatter prototype of Sylvia, seeing as Mrs. Geef was Sylvia's basis.

The design differences, even if I made them resemble their final counterparts to make them more recognizable, are made on purpose as their designs are loosely based on this picture: See this picture here
