Rewatched Dumbo, one of my fav childhood movies a while ago and pretty much sketched this afterwards cos its the best scene in the film. This is also one of the first couple pieces in this sketchbook that I did at the time and just now decided to go back to after a couple months to finally get it out of the way and post it here.
The spastic, sketchy line art/weight was heavily inspired by the fuckin rad Mario Strikers artstyle just to make it a tad more edgy/angular and experimented a bit with the lighting/shading. Either way, had fun with this one. Love drawing cartoony, psycho expressions and this scene in particular definitely evokes that kinda vibe with how bizarre and out of left field it is.
