A piece of Concept Art for a long running fighting game project of mine and why I listed myself as a games dev on this site, this time the character design for one of the main planned playable characters
Capricio is a relic of a former age, one of 12 highly advanced espercraft machines designed as bodyguards too high ranking official's in the setting's old world, before the cataclysm that links too the game's plot. recently rediscovered and repaired, she's... not exactly working as intended any more, acting less like a war machine and more like a sweet and charming young woman with a love of flowers and an inbuilt arsenal
visually, I tried to blend elements of gundams and other 'real robot' type designs with some of the vehicle aeseics of the 1950s. I personally think it turned out pretty well, but then I'm biased
Mechanically, she's planned as the heavy weight grappler/glacier of the cast. high health and hits like a truck, and several armoured options, but counterbalanced by low speed and unreliable mobility. the wings give her access to a very high speed air dash, but it takes times to get the engine started and her fuel is limited
