I like to think I know a lot about certain games and franchises I really love given how long I’ve been into some of them. And then I learn that Riju from Zelda Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom is actually the last name of the character and question if I should even really say I love the Zelda franchise as much as I do lol.

Yes, the chief of the Gerudo people in Zelda Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom apparently has a proper first name. Makeela. Now let me ask you something. If you’ve been following me for a decent amount of time now, does that name sound familiar to you? Yeah, it sounds A LOT like the name I give my own OC Mikaela! I think you can tell where I’m going with this. Mikaela shares a name that sounds very similar to the cannon first name of Ruji! And for this pic in question Mikaela (as well as Nessa, have I ever mentioned I ship Mikaela with her? Yeah I know, my fault for not getting enough pics of them together) has paid a little visit to Gerudo Town for a few days and has managed to get along with her very well to the point where they are allowing each other to share clothing. Mostly because Ruji was pretty interested in Mikaela and Nessa’s sense of fashion given the world they originally come from and they are models and thought maybe the town could use a bit of verity in there fashion.

Honestly, Mikaela could use some Gerudo clothing if she’s gonna be staying in this town for a few days anyway just for the hell of it. Yeah, I wasn’t kidding when I said I wanted Mikaela to be part of my crossover universe and how there’s no real reason for her not to be given Pokemon is part of that universe anyway. Because screw it! YOLO right!? Anything goes for Mikaela’s future adventures that I decide to put her though! : D

Okay but seriously, does anyone even use the term “YOLO” anymore? Like I feel like I use to see that said all the time during the 2010’s but no one says it anymore. Really, when was the last time you ever heard anyone say that recently before now? … Put your hands down Inkling and Genie me, I know you both are lying!
