Noticed there was a Blacklight: Retribution contest going on yesterday and the deadline's today SO HERE'S ME RUSHING LIKE IT'S ZERG-O-CLOCK
Actually not as disappointed in the result as I thought I'd be. It's rough around the edges, but I usually get a lot less shit done in one day. Magic of deadlines I guess.
The game in context: Blacklight Retribution is a Free To Play FPS with detailed gun customization, mechs and wallhack vision for everyone, which gives you quite a few more tactical options than most competitors, so I enjoyed the heck out of it before it died - but now it's currently being revived! And yes, you can melt pilots out of their mechs and then steal them. No hot-glowing blades for that tho, gotta use a proper huge flamethrower.
Aaah, the memories... there has been an update revently. Still a shitty noobfest tho.
