So I played Psychonauts for the first time recently and I enjoyed it so much that it forced me to break my rule of never paying more than thirty dollars for a video game so that I could play the sequel.

I didn't think the sequel was quite as good as the original, but it was still a top-notch game that was worth every penny, so much so that as soon as I had beaten both of them I NEEDED to start drawing fan art ASAP, I ended up drawing seven pictures of Raz and Lili...

The hatch-shaded pen style was something I wanted to try emulating after reading Barry Windsor Smith's book Monsters, and since I read the book and played Psychonauts all over the course of about a week, it all sort of blended together in my head and came out in the form of shipping art just like literally everything that ever enters my brain has a tendency to do.
