This started out with me drawing a picture of my sexy Jason Voorhees weeb statue and evolved into me trying out this practice technique I saw on John Kricfalusi's blog (I know he's a huge sack of shit but just because he's a sexual predator and overall douchebag doesn't mean he can't have a good idea every now and then).

Basically the technique boils down to drawing a character on a page and then drawing another character using the negative space created by the first character's outline, essentially making a sort of jigsaw puzzle-like collage of whacky character designs. It forces you to think outside the box and come up with unique designs that you wouldn't normally think of to fit in the available space.
