I love how he looks he would belong in a kid's show. Since the Pico games are parodies of edutainment games.

Dude, I have to admit that is freaking adorable! I am usually a bigger fan of Pico when he's out shooting stuff up, but this was so cute. I guess that's why a lot of people presumably don't like it. I really thought it was great how you created this charming version of a young character we all know and love. He even has an itty bitty gun with him! Dang, he has some small feet.
I hope you had a great Pico Day last year and this year too! It seems to really do the character justice. He's a bit too big to a certain extent, but it's still done well. I love the little freckles too. It's a nice innocent picture.
:D
This is a really "clean" Redisign ...its nice to some people putting real thought into there art.
Always love ur style man :)
Thank you very much, it means a lot coming from you!
Funny thing that, even when I thought a lot about the design long ago, this drawing came up when I stopped caring that much and did it without any reference, just using my "mental image" of Pico...
... And probably that's why he's wearing some blue jeans instead of his regular khaki cargo pants... I feel so guilty! In my design, I color-coded the characters after the Ludo game pieces (Pico=green, Darnell=blue, Nene=yellow, ???=red)... I'll use that greenish gray next time for sure!
Amazing!
Dude your drawing style Is so awesome! It's so simple yet so awesome! And the colors are so amazing! Hope you make more I'll be looking forward to more of your art! :D
Happy Pico Day! :)
I'm considering to make the rest of the gang. It'd be a series of 4 pictures.
Thank you for your kind words!
you got it down just right
the head for him is perfect , the pose, shirt and pants are awsome, but why a pistol instead of a uzi?
Why not an M-16? I love how big it looked in his hands...
I chose the Glock-17 because I wanted to draw one long ago and I had some reference available at that moment (I was trying to beat the clock with this one.). It's also a really small gun, so it's very fitting for the tiny hands of a little boy.
Still, I hope to draw Pico with an M-16 one day...
