So, a long time ago in my animations class in 2018, after I drew Harou Inubashiri. My friends I was working with in Class asked me "If Momiji is the Mother of Harou, who is the father? And what would he look like?"

It was a good question since for the project for the semester, it was a good idea because in case the professor requests something a little more to our story boards, I need another character anyway. Since the animation class was in the evenings, we discussed about our projects over some dinner at a fast food joint. My friends helped help me with the father’s story. Something that he take on intense rolls especially.

I came up with the idea that he was outlawed by the Tengus due to an incident that falsely identified him as the culprit of destroying the Human Village and the death of the human children that he was familiar and close with. He taught those children the importance of helping their village’s survival when it comes to fishing and food sources. Randall isn’t the kind of Tengu who would betray those he’s closely connected with. My friends suggested a group that the Tengus targeted for years that framed Randall because he was a major threat to them because of his abilities. That group is called The Bandit Kings. Former Tengus that aims their recognition as a higher power amongst the current power.

As her personality, he may look intense, but when he has time, he keeps an eye on his son Harou. Disobeying the Outlaw Regulations by the Tengus, to make sure Harou is safe and well. He takes his duties seriously, but when he has own time, he can be a big softie.
