My second time ever making a nubrs patch model in Maya. For a school project I tried to replicate vintage CGI and what can be more vintage CGI than a nurbs patch model. I acquired an old Maya Text book from one of the school faculty, and some old Gnomon Workshop DVDs and went to work. After all of this, I can see nurbs being used in so much more stuff for my workflow, even if polygons are objectively the best way of doing things.
