Good morning, good afternoon and good evening, everyone!

Yes! This is real! This is a comission! My first comission! And the comissioner loved the final result! And oh GOSH am I SO happy!!!

This was a blast to draw, I really enjoyed drawing both characters, for different reasons. I loved drawing the pink cat because of the expression I had to give them, their rad hairstyle and the piercings.
I loved drawing the catgoat because of their overall design, big hands and very VERY fluffy forearms, it's just a big character that would be nice to get a hug from!
Moreover, it's always nice to draw characters with different body types.

Summing it up, I loved drawing these two and totally would do it again.

From a technical viewpoint, I see this as an improvement over previous cellshaded pictures I've made. I made a better fur shading when necessary, and I believe I've made a better job on making the shadows cast correctly where they should.
I've learned more about NOT exaggerating when blurring your background (this is a thing I did in previous pics, be they cellshaded or painterly like) and, overall, being more subtle with the effects I use on top of the vanilla pic to achieve a better and more organic result.

I hope I'll just only get better with each picture I do in the future!
