Dots and Plots - Portrait

Portrait of my lovely mother who might look like a grownup but, trust me, still often behaves like the kid she deserves to be.

Thanks a lot for having a look and have an awesome day :)

Good diagonals and the familiar patterned shirt gives this piece a sense of nostalgia. The smile also seems as if you'd want to travel back in time to embark on her adventures! I docked half a point for the weird cropping right at her head, but then maybe I don't fully understand the intentions behind that. Love the paint, and the brush work, awesome schtuff :D

Damn nice work my good sir. Truly a testament of skill and love for the subject.

Well hello there fair lord of maddudeshire

And thank you kindly for those glistening stars you’ve so graciously shared with me.

If this piece is a testament of my skill or much rather of my infamous stubbornness when it comes to rendering, is a question thou shalt not ask – But let me just say: I do not require much sleep ;)
One however is undoubtedly true, I do love this oh so childish smirk that usually shows itself right before this lovely lady heads out to get a ridiculous amount of candy XD

Best wishes and have a loony day in the milky way.
