This is Ygg my testing world building project. It is totally free to use and anyone can make stories, characters, concept art, etc. as long as it's in the context of the world and story.

Fael are a humanoid race born who all possess large, sharp triangular ears. They are nomadic in nature having very few and small permanent settlements which are all well hidden in secret. The temporary settlements they leave behind are used as shelters for the wildlife promoting the growth and health of the ecosystem. Fael evolve in their environment at a rapid rate thanks to their strong spiritual and magical connection to the natural world. In just three generations they would have evolved new traits to adapt to their environment.
Currently there are four different types of Fael:
-
Aquatic Fael have adapted to live in environments with large bodies of water such as coasts, rivers, and lakes. They have developed Webbed hands, smoother skin, and their faces appear more fish-like. Their skin color ranges from blue to purple. Their hair color ranges from blue, green, and white.
-
Mountain Fael have adapted to live in tall rocky environments such as mountains and canyons. They possess long and spindly limbs with dexterous hands, and their overall appearance is more spider-like. Their hair color ranges from brown, orange, and black whilst their skin ranges from red to purple.
-
Wood Fael are the oldest type of Fael retaining much of their ancient inheritance. They live in environments with heavy vegetation such as forests and jungles. Their bodies are similar to the Nordens except that they are more nimble and possess large cat-like eyes which allows them better vision and can see in the dark. Their skin color ranges from pink to purple. Their hair color ranges from yellow, green, and brown.
-
Winter Fael have adapted to live in snowy environments such as Tundras and Taigas. They are similar in appearance to the Wood Fael except that they have purple skin and shaggy hair with colors that range from black to white. They have developed pads on their hands and feet for traversing through the snow whilst retaining their ancestral feline eyes.
