"Not only snow but bombs fell on the city of Liverpool yesterday evening as a presumed riot, later identified as urban warfare broke out in the financial sector of the city-- authorities claim. The devastation is primarily in part to the use of magnesium cluster munitions causing fires and shrapnel tearing through buildings and shelter. During the fighting several people have lost their lives, innocent civilians and those participating in the fighting alike. Identification of the victims are ongoing due to the sheer amount of carnage that has unfolded. Despite efforts made by law enforcement to stop the scuffles on the ground, they were quickly overwhelmed and pushed back by all participants. As several social media clips show, the fighting also involved firearms and ballistic armor, the true cause and aim of the attacks are unknown at this time-- however the city of Liverpool and surrounding areas are under lockdown currently. Many experts and people alike claim this was the boiling point of an ongoing gangland feud between several factions that participated in similar skirmishes over the past few months.
