Watching the hate this anime received when it was first released? Absolutely priceless.

You won't understand unless you were there, but this show was the anime community's punching bag for a while when it was still new. The way public opinion would sway on it from week to week was crazier than any rollercoaster out there. From the word "go," people were already bent over laughing about the absurdity of the piloting system for the mechs (if you don't, please go look it up. True artistry right there). I personally think that mechs were created for the sole purpose of making people raise their eyebrows. Honestly, I think the entire show was a just a massive shitpost the creators came up with just to see how much drama they could stir up.

And let me tell you. Zero Two here? You'd be forgiven if you thought she was a character from a hentai and not one from a publicly airing anime. I've seen this girl's asshole more than I've seen my own family. You couldn't escape her or her holes. I mean, to be fair... like, look at her. It's as if she was designed to be defiled by the internet. it would definitely fit into my theory, I'll tell you what.

I was more of a Miku guy myself, honestly. You don't even know who that is, do you? Don't worry, most people don't.
