Wow, that's news to me. Thanks once again!
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!
Neptune has some new moons and they are REALLY far away!
The two moons are only a couple dozen miles in diameter each and orbit extremely far away from Neptune. The farthest one takes about 27 Earth years to complete just one orbit around its host planet, the longest orbit of any known moon in the Solar System!
They're so far away in fact that Neptune's gravity barely has a hold on them, and they are frequently tugged on by the Sun and other planets' gravitational influence.
It must be pretty lonely that far out, but I'm sure the two moons keep each other company.
Be sure to follow me on Instagram, too!
