My entry for jazza's COTM. I decided to make the light coming from the genral direction of the ghost, though not necessarily from her, and in warm colors to give the idea that she's trying hard to convey feelings of comfort to her loved one. For the shadows on his front, I used cold tones, to show how from his perspective, he's alone and helpless. However, the light is shining bright onto the flowers, which are an expression of his love for her, and that's what's connecting them and allowing them to somehow share that moment with each other.
